Denmark, France, and Lithuania have allocated 150 million euros for Ukrainian weapons. The funds will be used for the production of missiles, drones, and artillery systems.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a statement from Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

"Ukraine has received over 150 million euros (6.5 billion hryvnias) for the financing of the Ukrainian defense industry from Denmark, France, and Lithuania," the minister noted.

He explained that out of these funds, 111 million euros will be allocated to fulfill agreements within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Defense of Denmark to enhance the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the latest domestically produced weaponry.

An additional 29 million euros is a grant from the French government aimed at strengthening Ukraine's security and defense.

Another 10 million euros for the development of the Ukrainian defense industry has been provided by Lithuania under a joint memorandum.

"These funds will specifically be directed towards the production of missiles, deep-strike drones, and artillery systems," Umerov added.

Danish Initiative for Weapons

It should be noted that this year Ukraine and Denmark launched a new initiative for investment in the production of domestic weapons. Within the framework of the project, partners are channeling funds into Ukrainian weaponry and gaining access to modern military technologies.

Lithuania and Sweden have already joined the initiative. Lithuania is allocating 10 million euros for the production of long-range weapons, specifically the "Palyanytsya" project, while Sweden will provide funds for the production of Ukrainian long-range drones.
