Active battles continue in Toretsk, with Russian forces persisting in their assaults. Fighting is taking place for virtually every house.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, citing a statement from the spokesperson of the operational-tactical grouping "Luhansk," Anastasia Bobovnikova, during a telethon.
"The situation in Toretsk is currently the most challenging, as since the beginning of this day, the enemy has conducted 11 assaults, some of which are still ongoing. The situation here is indeed very tense. Battles are being fought for every house," Bobovnikova noted.
She clarified that there are instances when Russian forces take control of a building in the city, but the following day, it is recaptured by Ukrainian defenders.
Furthermore, Bobovnikova added that the Russians have started using military equipment in the Toretsk direction, which had not been observed before.
"On the northern outskirts of Toretsk, in the village of Nelepopvka, the enemy is beginning to use equipment. Over the past day, there have been battles involving armored vehicles, buggies, and motorcycles. We had not seen this before, but now the enemy has intensified their actions," she added.
Recall that Russian occupiers continue their attempts to occupy Toretsk. They are already on the territory of the city.
On December 10, the operational-strategic grouping of troops (OSGV) "Khortytsia" released a video showing that Toretsk has been almost destroyed as a result of constant enemy strikes.
