Odessa attack: the number of injured has risen, prompting the implementation of local emergency power outages.

Russian occupiers launched a massive drone attack on Odessa and its vicinity during the night of February 19. The number of injured has risen to four individuals.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, in Telegram.

As noted by the head of the administration, the attack damaged civilian infrastructure, including a children's clinic, a kindergarten, windows in apartment buildings, and several cars.

"Four people were injured, including one child. All have been hospitalized in moderate condition," Kiper stated.

Due to the Russian attack, local emergency power outages are in effect in parts of the Odessa region. Critical infrastructure is operating with the help of generators. In the Kyiv district of Odessa, heating has been suspended for some consumers. Shelters have been opened for residents.
The State Emergency Service clarified that they have already extinguished the fires that broke out following the attack. According to rescuers, the clinic building, a 24-story residential building, a kindergarten, and several vehicles were damaged.

Attack on Odessa

Late on the evening of February 18, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the threat from enemy drones. Monitoring groups reported that drones were moving from the sea towards Odessa and the region.

Later, the mayor of Odessa reported hits in the city. As a result of the attack, according to the city mayor, 14 schools, 13 kindergartens, and a large residential neighborhood—over 250 residents of Odessa—were left without power and heating.

Initially, there was information about one injured person. As it stands, the number of injured has increased to four individuals.
