The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has arrived for a meeting with King Charles III of the United Kingdom. The meeting will take place at Sandringham Palace.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing SkyNews.

According to the publication, around 17:25 local time, a military helicopter flew over and landed at Sandringham Palace. It is noted that Zelensky arrived on this helicopter.

Local residents, some holding Ukrainian flags, gathered near the estate to witness Zelensky's arrival to meet the King.

Sandringham Palace

As a reminder, Sandringham Palace is a private estate of the British royal family. It is located near the village of Sandringham in Norfolk County.

It is known that Sandringham is a favorite retreat for members of the British royal family, where they spend their winter holidays. The late Queen Elizabeth II loved to celebrate Christmas at this residence.

Zelensky's Meeting with the King

Previously, it was announced that Zelensky would meet with King Charles III. The press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Nikiforov, confirmed that Volodymyr Zelensky is in London and plans to meet not only with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer but also with the King.

Summit of European Leaders

It is also worth noting that a summit dedicated to Ukraine took place in London today. Leaders from more than 10 countries, as well as EU and NATO leadership, will participate.

The main topics of the summit include:

strengthening Ukraine's positions currently - including ongoing military assistance and increasing economic pressure on Russia;

the necessity of a solid and long-term agreement that will ensure sustainable peace in Ukraine and guarantee the country’s ability to deter and defend against potential future attacks from Russia;

the next steps in developing reliable security guarantees.
