Near Toretsk, Russian assault units have infiltrated Ukrainian Armed Forces positions, and they are being eliminated.

Russian assault groups have infiltrated the combat formations of Ukrainian troops in the Toretsk direction. The enemy is being detected and eliminated.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a statement from the Operational-Strategic Grouping of Troops "Khortytsia".

It was noted that in the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, Russian forces attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and near Belyi Hora.

"To move personnel for an offensive towards Shcherbinivka, the enemy used automotive equipment, which has been destroyed. Efforts to identify, localize, and eliminate enemy assault groups that have infiltrated our combat formations are ongoing," the statement said.

Situation on the Front

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 161 combat clashes have been recorded at the front in the past 24 hours. The most combat encounters occurred in the area of Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and in the Kursk region.

Active hostilities are also ongoing in the Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Lyman directions. Urban fighting continues in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk. The Defense Forces reported the destruction of several positions.

According to representatives of the Defense Forces, the enemy is trying to avoid urban battles in Pokrovsk. Despite the intense fighting, more than 7,000 residents remain in the city.
