In the Kyiv region today, February 14, remnants of an enemy drone were discovered. The wreckage fell onto the ice.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Rescuers explained that citizens in the Kyiv region noticed a suspicious object on the ice of a body of water - approximately 300 meters from the shore. They immediately called the SES.

"Divers from the MRC of the SES of Ukraine arrived at the scene. It turned out that these were remnants of a 'Gerbera' unmanned aerial vehicle, which posed no danger. The specialists retrieved them to the shore and handed them over to the relevant experts for further investigation," the rescuers reported.

The SES urged Ukrainians to remain vigilant and attentive, and to call "101" if they find any suspicious objects.

Recall that the Russian army launched over 100 drones of the Shahed type into Ukrainian territory on the night of February 14.

The air defense forces operated in 11 regions of the country. The military managed to shoot down 73 strike drones of the Shahed type and drones of other types in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.

Additionally, 58 enemy imitation drones were locally lost without negative consequences.

As a result of the enemy attack, the Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv regions were affected.
