A serious accident occurred at one of the substations in Kyiv. Some homes in the Desnyansky district are without electricity.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of DTEK.
"We are currently assessing the scope of work, after which we will inform you about the timeline for restoring electricity supply," DTEK writes.
According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (SES) in Kyiv, at 06:34, rescuers received a report of a fire on Zakrevsky Street. A fire broke out in the cable duct at the substation. After obtaining permission to extinguish it, the fire was extinguished by 07:44.

"There are no casualties. The cause of the fire will be investigated by law enforcement," SES adds.
"At 9:30, the energy workers restored electricity to all homes," DTEK writes.
We remind you that RBK-Ukraine reported on how recently a part of Odesa and the Odesa region lost power due to a large-scale accident at a substation. Prior to that, there was an accident on a high-voltage line in the city, which also led to electricity supply restrictions.
