In Kyiv, debris from a Russian strike drone has fallen. A fire broke out at the site of the impact, and damage has been reported.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine, citing Telegram channels of Kyiv's Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachенко.
According to Klitschko, the drone debris fell in the Solomianskyi district of the capital.
The impact caused a fire in a residential area, resulting in damage. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
At the same time, Timur Tkachенко reported that trees caught fire and windows of a nearby house were damaged due to the falling debris in the Solomianskyi district.
The fire has been extinguished, and there are no reported injuries.
Since the evening of February 21, Russian invaders have been launching large-scale drone attacks on Ukraine using "Shahed" type drones. Air raid alerts have been declared in many regions.
In Kyiv, the air raid alert was issued at 21:38. Around 23:30, powerful explosions were heard in the city due to air defense operations.
Additionally, it was reported that in the Kyiv region, one person was killed and several fires broke out as a result of the "Shahed" debris falling.
