Ukrainian scouts intercepted a conversation between North Korean military personnel. The dialogue was conducted in Korean.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing HUR.
On November 9, Ukrainian military intelligence intercepted radio communications involving North Korean troops recruited by Russia for the war against Ukraine.
"The North Koreans, deployed to carry out tasks in the Kursk region, are broadcasting in Korean," HUR officials stated.
According to the intelligence agency, during the conversation, a North Korean military officer first calls for a "repairman," and then orders the group to return immediately.
It became known in early October that North Korea was sending troops to Ukraine under the command of three generals.
Later, it was revealed that their numbers exceed 10,000 military personnel, and they are set to engage in frontline battles starting in November. Additionally, HUR learned what weapons the Russians provided to the North Korean military.
By early November, it was reported that North Korean troops came under fire in the Kursk region. Moreover, Russian marines, along with North Korean soldiers, launched an offensive in the Kursk region on November 7, but suffered losses.
