The British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, stated that a peace agreement for Ukraine must involve Russia. However, he added that the Russian Federation cannot dictate the terms.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Sky News.
According to the British Prime Minister, the peace agreement must include Russia; otherwise, "we will not achieve any progress."
"What we have seen in the past is a cessation of hostilities without any support, which has been regularly violated by Russia. This is a situation we need to avoid," Starmer declared.
It is worth noting that in the same press conference, following the summit of European leaders in London, Starmer announced a deal that will allow the delivery of an additional 5,000 missiles for Ukraine's air defense.
