Meteorologists have provided a forecast for the first workweek of March in Ukraine.

The first working week of March is expected to be warm. During the day, temperatures will reach up to +17 degrees, not only in the south.

Monday, March 3

On Monday, March 3, Ukraine will experience mostly dry weather.

The exceptions will be the Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Sumy regions, Crimea, and Kyiv, where wet snow or rain mixed with snow is likely.

At night, most regions will experience slight "minus" temperatures. The coldest temperatures will hit Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions, dropping to -6.

During the day, warm weather is expected, with maximum temperatures in Transcarpathia and Chernivtsi region reaching up to +8 degrees.

Tuesday, March 4

On Tuesday, March 4, it will be dry in Ukraine. Most regions will see slight "minus" temperatures at night.

Nighttime temperatures will drop to -3 degrees, for example, in Luhansk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions.

During the day, it will be warm. Interestingly, the highest temperatures will occur not in the south, but in the west - in Chernivtsi region, reaching up to +12!

Wednesday, March 5

On Wednesday, March 5, dry weather will continue in most regions of Ukraine. However, rain will enter the territory of Ukraine and affect several regions, namely: Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kyiv region, Chernihiv, and Sumy.

No frost is expected at night on Wednesday, March 5. Even at night, "plus" temperatures are likely, although some areas may experience -1 degrees.

During the day, temperatures will rise to a maximum of +14 degrees, again not in the south, but in Prykarpattia. There will be rain in Kyiv, with nighttime temperatures up to +3 and daytime temperatures up to +9.

Thursday, March 6

On Thursday, March 6, it will be dry in Ukraine - no rain or snow. All regions will be sunny. At night, most areas will see temperatures between +3 and +5 degrees. The coldest temperatures will occur at night, for example, in Luhansk region and Transcarpathia, at +2 to +4 degrees.

During the day, temperatures will range from +12 to +15 in most regions. The warmest weather will be in Prykarpattia, reaching up to +17. In Kyiv, there will be no precipitation, with nighttime temperatures up to +6 and daytime temperatures up to +13.

Friday, March 7

On Friday, March 7, the weather will be similar to that of Thursday, March 6. It will again be relatively warm at night, between +3 and +5. However, it will be colder at night in Luhansk region, at +1 to +3.

During the day, it will remain warm, between +12 and +15 degrees. In Ivano-Frankivsk and Odesa, temperatures may reach up to +17! It will also be warm in Kyiv, with nighttime temperatures up to +6 degrees and daytime temperatures up to +13.

Winter 2025 in Ukraine turned out to be quite warm. December and January felt like autumn, while some days in January were reminiscent of April.

Frosts arrived in Ukraine in February. Most often, they occurred at night, while during the day, slight "plus" temperatures were often observed.
