NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that there is currently no peace agreement for Ukraine. He emphasized the need to establish security guarantees from Europe.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing The Guardian.

"(There is no peace agreement yet, but - ed.) we must prepare for that moment and ensure that European countries are ready to assist with security guarantees," Rutte said.

He noted that allies want to ensure that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not attempt to invade Ukraine again. This, in turn, would mean that "Europeans will actively engage in Ukraine to guarantee the preservation of peace, its sustainability, strength, and durability."

Let us remind you that today a summit of European leaders took place in London, and the key topic of the meeting was Ukraine.

In particular, the agenda included discussions on strengthening our country's position at this moment (in military terms, as well as economic pressure on Russia), the necessity of a long-term agreement that would ensure peace in Ukraine, and the next steps in developing security guarantees.
