Russian occupiers launched 99 drones at Ukraine from six different directions on the night of January 22. Most of the enemy drones were destroyed by air defense forces.

During the night, the occupiers deployed drones targeting Ukraine from six locations: Chauda (Crimea), Millerovo, Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk (Russia).
As of 10:00 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the downing of 65 drones. Air defense operations were conducted in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
An additional 30 enemy decoy drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
The Ukrainian Air Force noted that the nighttime enemy attack resulted in damage to institutions, industrial facilities, utility buildings, and private and apartment houses in the Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
It is worth noting that on the evening of January 21, the Russians struck a residential area in the city of Sumy with a drone. As a result of the attack, homes were damaged, and a fire broke out.
Additionally, the occupiers attacked Mykolaiv with a drone on the evening of January 21. This assault partially destroyed one floor of an apartment building and damaged other homes and structures.
As reported, in the Kyiv region, the falling debris from the downed drones damaged power lines and houses.
