On the night of December 26, Russian forces launched 31 drones of various types at Ukraine. Most of them were shot down by air defense.
This information comes from RBK-Ukraine citing UAF Air Forces.
"On the night of December 26, the enemy attacked with 31 Shahed-type strike UAVs and drones of other types from the directions of Orel and Millerovo," the report states.
The aerial assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 08:30, the downing of 20 Shahed-type strike UAVs and drones of other types in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions has been confirmed," the Air Forces added.
Additionally, due to active resistance from the Defense Forces, 11 enemy imitation drones were locally lost.
In the evening of December 25, Russian occupiers launched kamikaze drones "Shahed" at Ukraine. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions. Furthermore, as of the morning of December 26, Russia continues to keep a "Kalibr" carrier in the Black Sea.
It should be noted that on the night of December 26, the Belgorod region of Russia was attacked by drones. Power was lost in some localities.
