"России нет": в ГУР поздравили оккупантов с Днем Конституции РФ.

Cyber specialists from the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine decided to "congratulate" Russians on the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. They successfully executed an operation, gaining complete control over the web servers of key government portals in Russia.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing its own sources in the GUR.

The "congratulations" from the GUR targeted the official website of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, as well as the webpage of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court.

On the State Duma's website, Ukrainian cyber specialists placed a banner with the message: "The country of Russia does not exist."

Meanwhile, the website of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation was completely blocked, and users only saw an error message when attempting to access the resource.

The DDoS attack organized by the GUR cyber specialists paralyzed the operation of these sites and incapacitated their servers.

This marked another blow to Russia's digital infrastructure, which was even acknowledged by Russian propaganda media. In their official statements, they blamed the cyberattack on an "organized group of hackers" that "disabled the servers of the sites and compromised important databases."

Cyberattacks on Russia

Since the onset of the full-scale war, GUR cyber specialists have been regularly conducting cyberattacks on Russia.

The aim of such operations is to disrupt the functioning of critical infrastructure, expose classified information, and weaken the military capabilities of the adversary.

Earlier, we reported that intelligence cyber specialists successfully attacked the Russian "MTS Bank."

Additionally, in September 2024, "Rosselkhozbank" and PAO "Moscow Credit Bank" were subjected to a hacker attack.

Recently, the GUR also launched a cyberattack on the systems of "Gazprombank." For details, see the article by RBK-Ukraine.
