The Russian military losses in Ukraine have exceeded 780,000, according to the General Staff.

Over the past 24 hours, on December 25, the Russian army has lost 1,540 soldiers on the front in Ukraine. Since February 24, 2022, Russia's total losses have exceeded 780,000 troops.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Facebook of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Estimated total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 26.12.24 are as follows:

  • personnel - approximately 780,860 (+1,540) eliminated;
  • tanks - 9,630 (+2) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 19,933 (+10) units;
  • artillery systems - 21,357 (+24) units;
  • MLRS - 1,256 units;
  • air defense systems - 1,031 (+1) units;
  • airplanes - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 329 units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 20,971 (+63) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,003 (+55) units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • automotive equipment and tank trucks - 32,180 (+63) units;
  • special equipment - 3,667 units.

Situation at the Front

As of the evening of December 25, there have been 211 combat clashes at the front. Russian occupiers continue to launch intense attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.

It is worth noting, as previously mentioned by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, that the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions remain the most "hot" areas. In November and December, Russian losses at the front have reached record levels.
