The occupiers are establishing their bases in abandoned high-rise buildings in Crimea. This has become a systemic phenomenon.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the partisan movement "ATESH".
"An agent has discovered the occupiers' base in Yevpatoria. This base is located in an abandoned multi-story building near the coast," the message states.
According to the partisans, the area around the site has been secured, with positions established for observation and shooting.
"Military equipment and personnel have been spotted near the base," they add in "ATESH".

The Russian troops occupied Crimea in 2014. Since then, a significant number of military facilities belonging to the invaders have appeared on the peninsula.
As the partisans indicate, the placement of military facilities within civilian developments in Crimea has already become a systemic issue. Moreover, these actions by the occupiers serve multiple purposes—not only the alleged "defense" of the peninsula but also the straightforward appropriation of various properties for their own enrichment.
It should be noted that this tactic is not new. Russians often conduct shelling from residential areas and use local residents as cover.
For instance, it was recently reported that Russians are spreading a fake narrative that Ukrainian forces are supposedly killing residents of the Pokrovsky district. In this way, the occupiers aim to use the civilian population as a "human shield".
