The number of attacks has significantly risen. What is the situation on the front as of this morning?

In the 24-hour period on January 10, Russians launched 213 attacks on the front in Ukraine, with one-third of these occurring in the Pokrovsk direction.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Most "Active" Direction

During the day on January 10, a total of 213 combat engagements were recorded, with the highest number in the Pokrovsk direction.

"In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted 72 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor," the report states.

The occupiers advanced in the areas of the settlements of Novopoltavka, Tarasivka, Baranivka, Myrolubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Luch, Lisovka, Myrnohrad, Novyi Trud, Zverovo, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novoaleksandrovka, Novovasyliivka, Novoandriivka, Novoelyzavetivka, Andriivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, Petropavlivka, Yasynove, and Yantarnoye.

Situation in Other Directions

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy launched five assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Volchansk and Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were eight attacks by the occupiers over the day. Defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions near Kucherivka, Petropavlivka, Pyschane, Zahryzovo, and Lozova.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 39 times, attempting to push forward near the settlements of Tverdokhlebovo, Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Pervomaiske, Makeivka, Terny, and Zarechne.

In the Seversk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops twice in the area of the settlement of Bilohorivka, without success.

In the Kramatorsk direction, 32 combat engagements were recorded in the areas of Bila Hora, Predtechyne, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched five attacks near Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 14 times near Konstantynivka, Zelenivka, Razliv, Razdolne, Velyka Novosilka, and Neskuchne.

In the Orikhiv, Huliaipole, and Dnipro directions, there were no combat engagements over the past day.

In the operational zone of the Kursk region, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 29 attacks by Russian invaders in the past day. The enemy conducted 386 artillery shelling attacks, including 14 from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.

Russian Losses in Ukraine

In the 24-hour period on January 10, Russian losses amounted to 1,570 military personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized 10 tanks, 18 armored combat vehicles, 28 artillery systems, 1 air defense system, 74 operational-tactical level drones, 61 vehicles, and 3 pieces of special equipment.

Furthermore, over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the defense forces struck two command points, two air defense systems, two ammunition depots, ten areas of personnel concentration, and two electronic warfare stations of the Russian invaders.
