In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 149 combat engagements with the enemy. The highest number of encounters was recorded in the Kurakhove direction.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched massive air and missile strikes, including a missile bombardment and conducted 93 air raids on the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements. A total of 67 guided aerial bombs were dropped, and over 4800 artillery shellings took place, of which 148 were from multiple launch rocket systems. The Russian army also utilized more than 1600 kamikaze drones.
In the Kharkiv direction, four combat encounters occurred, particularly near Volchansk. In the Kupiansk direction, 13 attacks were recorded, which Ukrainian troops repelled near Kolesnikovka, Synkivka, Kruhlyakivka, Pervomaiske, and Lozova.
In the Lyman and Kramatorsk directions, Defense Forces successfully halted numerous enemy assaults. In the Pokrovsk sector, the defense withstood 31 attacks, while in the Kurakhove direction, it repelled 48.
The situation remains stable in the Volyn and Polissya directions, with no signs of enemy strike group formations detected. The enemy also did not carry out active offensive actions in the Siversk, Huliaipole, and Orikhiv directions.
Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region, where 37 airstrikes by Russian aviation on its own territory were recorded, using 54 guided aerial bombs.
In the last 24 hours, from October 28 to 29, Russian troops suffered losses of 1360 soldiers, 9 armored fighting vehicles, and about 90 units of automotive equipment.
