DTEK is doing everything possible to enhance energy security for Ukraine and Europe, according to Timchenko.

DTEK is making every effort to replace Russian energy resources in the EU and enhance the energy security of various countries.

This was stated by DTEK's CEO, Maxim Timchenko, as reported by RBK-Ukraine citing CNBC.

"DTEK is doing everything possible to strengthen energy security not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. I believe a strong example of this is our deal for liquefied gas procurement," he said.

Timchenko revealed that DTEK became the first Ukrainian company to deliver liquefied gas from Louisiana to Europe.

"This occurred at the end of December, three weeks ago. It was our response to the halt of Russian gas transit through Ukraine. We are doing everything we can to replace dirty Russian energy," emphasized the head of DTEK.

Recall that at the end of December, DTEK, owned by Rinat Akhmetov, received its first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States.
