On the night of January 20, the city of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan, RF) was once again under attack. Military facilities were targeted by unidentified drones.
This was announced by the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD), Andrey Kovalenko, as reported by RBK-Ukraine citing his Telegram channel.

He reminded that several key aviation enterprises are located in the city, playing a crucial role in the Russian defense industry.
Among them is the Kazan Aviation Plant named after Gorbunov, which is involved in the production of strategic bombers Tu-22M3 and Tu-160, as well as their modernization and repair. "The plant is actively expanding, particularly to service these aircraft," the head of the CPD stated.
According to him, another significant enterprise is the Kazan Helicopter Plant, specializing in the production of helicopters for military and civilian purposes.
Additionally, the Kazan State Arsenal Powder Factory operates in the city, producing gunpowder and explosives for aviation munitions and missiles, such as "Kalibr" and "Iskander," Kovalenko added.
