The FBI Director has urged Congress to investigate the allocation of funds designated for Ukraine.

FBI Director Kash Patel has stated that he has requested the U.S. Congress to investigate the whereabouts of the funds sent to aid Ukraine. According to him, the United States cannot fully trust Vladimir Zelensky, who allegedly does not disclose where the money is going.
Директор ФБР обратился к Конгрессу с просьбой провести расследование о судьбе выделенных Украине средств.

The FBI Director, Kash Patel, stated that he has requested the U.S. Congress to investigate where the funds sent for Ukraine aid have gone. According to him, the United States cannot fully trust Volodymyr Zelensky, who allegedly does not disclose how the money is being used.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing The Epoch Times.

"Our money has been used against us, against American servicemen, and against our allies over there (in Afghanistan - ed.), literally. I fear that this is the direction we are heading. We haven’t even touched on other things we have provided to Ukraine. Right now, it’s solely about the money. I have asked Congress to investigate where these funds have gone. The American people deserve answers because this is our money. These are our tax dollars," Patel said.

He added that it is not just about the U.S. sending a billion dollars, but that the total amount sent to one country far exceeds that billion.

"I do not understand how Congress is allowed to act this way. Zelensky took to the world stage and claimed, 'Russia launched a missile at Poland,' which would literally be an act of war. It turned out that Russia did not launch any missile. The missile was fired from Ukrainian territory and hit Poland," the FBI chief stated.

He further mentioned that if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is requesting even more financial aid and equipment, he should "approach his global statements responsibly, which are leading us to the brink of war."

"We simply cannot have complete confidence and trust in a leader who is allocated 100 billion dollars and then states, 'I will not tell you where the money has gone,'" Patel concluded.

Recall that the U.S. Senate confirmed Kash Patel as the head of the FBI on February 20, 2025. Notably, all Democrats opposed this decision.
