Russian invaders are increasing the military significance of Balaklava Bay in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Recently, it has been operating as a museum.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the partisan movement ATEŠ.
Agents of the movement have observed that the aggressor's military is reinforcing maritime engineering barriers in the bay, intended to protect against unmanned boats and sabotage groups.
Thus, the Russian occupiers are once again utilizing the old submarine base, which previously operated as a museum, for military purposes.
"This facility, known as Object 825GTS, is located in Balaklava and represents an underground complex capable of concealing submarines and providing their repair and maintenance," the partisans note.
All collected information will be passed on by ATEŠ agents to the Defense Forces of Ukraine, "who know how to organize surprises for the occupiers."
Russian invaders continue to militarize the peninsula in violation of international treaties and laws and customs of war.
For instance, the Russian army is disguising military facilities as civilian infrastructure and is using civilian transport to carry out provocations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Additionally, recently partisans have discovered new defensive positions near the village of Fedorivka, which are being reinforced with electronic warfare systems.
